Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian business environment.
• Established networks with government agencies, state-owned enterprises or major corporates.
• Experience in satellite, geospatial technology, remote sensing, GIS or related industries.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to develop a market from an early stage.
• Eligible to work in Indonesia or willing to discuss work-permit arrangements.

About our Client and Role

Our client is a multinational Asia-based company providing space and geospatial solutions. This position will lead the Indonesian business development, build customer and partner relationships, and manage sales opportunities from initial engagement through contract closure.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop our Client's business in Indonesia;
• Build relationships with Indonesian government agencies, public-sector organizations, state-owned enterprises and major corporates;
• Develop customers in mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, oil and gas, infrastructure, utilities, maritime and related industries;
• Identify and develop relationships with local partners, system integrators, GIS companies, engineering firms and satellite-related organisations;
• Manage complex B2B and B2G opportunities from initial engagement through contract closure;
• Support the establishment and development of our Jakarta office.

Job Requirements

• At least five years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or strategic partnerships;
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian business environment;
• An established network and strong relationships with government agencies, state-owned enterprises, major corporates or relevant industry partners;
• Experienced in satellite, aerospace, geospatial technology, remote sensing, GIS, telecommunications, energy, mining, agriculture, forestry, infrastructure or government projects;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is strongly preferred;
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to develop a market from an early stage;
• Legal authorization to work in Indonesia, or willingness to discuss applicable work-permit arrangements.
