Job summary

Panna Hospitality Group in Jakarta is seeking a Senior E‑Commerce Business Operations Manager to lead the operational and commercial execution of the company’s e‑commerce and BNPL‑integrated business in Indonesia.

You will report to Regional HQ, translating strategic directives into actionable initiatives, managing a 5–8 person team, and driving growth with merchants and partners while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in business operations.
• Minimum 5 years in e-commerce, BNPL, or digital financial services.
• 5+ years managerial experience leading operations, business development, or merchant ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce, BNPL flows, consumer credit and fintech.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and 5–8 person teams.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia; strong English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for the e-commerce and BNPL platform in Indonesia.
• Translate Regional HQ strategies into localized operational roadmaps and initiatives.
• Develop and manage a team of 5–8 operational professionals.
• Drive merchant acquisition and strategic partnerships to grow BNPL usage.
• Oversee onboarding, campaigns, fee structures, and performance metrics.
• Monitor key metrics and close operational gaps to improve volume and conversion.
• Collaborate across Business Operations, Business Development, Merchant Management, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory stakeholders as needed.
