MatchaTalent is partnering with a leading Southeast Asian fintech to recruit a Senior E‑Commerce Business Operations Manager for Indonesia. The role will oversee the e‑commerce and BNPL‑integrated platform, translating regional HQ directives into local operational plans and commercial growth strategies.

The ideal candidate will drive merchant partnerships, manage a 5–8 person ops team, and ensure strong execution across regulatory-compliant activities in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Business Operations, preferably within multifinance, consumer finance, or financial services.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce, BNPL, consumer credit, digital financial services, or related digital business environments.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or senior managerial experience leading business operations, business development, merchant ecosystems, or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for the e-commerce and BNPL-integrated platform, ensuring strong operational performance and execution.
• Translate Regional HQ strategies and business objectives into localized operational roadmaps and commercial initiatives.
• Manage and develop a team of 5–8 operational professionals, setting priorities, performance expectations, and execution standards.
• Drive merchant acquisition, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem expansion to increase BNPL acceptance across relevant channels.
• Oversee merchant onboarding processes, platform campaigns, fee structures, transaction performance, and customer conversion initiatives.
• Monitor key e-commerce and BNPL metrics, identify operational gaps, and implement initiatives to improve transaction volume, conversion, and platform efficiency.
