Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional drilling engineering or operations experience.
• Minimum 5 years in geothermal drilling or geothermal projects.
• Strong expertise in drilling engineering and well design, including trajectories, casing, fluids, cementing, hydraulics.
• Experience in drilling planning, performance optimization, and cost/time estimation.
• Proven ability to assess risks, mitigate issues, and provide engineering recommendations.
• Proficiency with drilling engineering software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drilling engineering team during project execution.
• Oversee preparation, review, and refinement of drilling programs and well plans.
• Guide analysis of real-time drilling data and optimization of drilling parameters.
• Manage drilling-related technical risks and evaluate program changes.
• Coordinate with field operations, teams, and clients to align decisions with project objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen team performance.
