Job summary

Mubadala Energy Indonesia is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer (Third Party Contractor) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and executing deepwater well construction, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, schedule adherence and cost control.

The successful candidate will lead drilling input into studies and plans, support risk assessments, and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure well objectives are met within approved milestones

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
15+ years of relevant experience, including offshore and deepwater drilling.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.

Responsibilities

Ensure integration of D&C well construction activities within project scope and standards.
Promote safety culture by adhering to HSSE policies and regulatory requirements.
Develop detailed drilling interface schedules and communicate with relevant teams.
Communicate effectively within drilling, sub-surface, and project teams; interface with SPS for CLS, IWOCS and ROV requirements.
Lead feasibility studies, conceptual design, execution planning and project decision-making.
Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and support MoC processes.
Collaborate with Subsurface, Project, and Operations teams to meet objectives within milestones and budgets.
