Job summary

Mubadala Energy Indonesia is seeking a Head of Drilling in Jakarta to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for all drilling and well construction activities, ensuring safety, cost efficiency, and adherence to OMS, DWES, and SKK Migas standards.

The role leads planning, equipment readiness, contractor performance, and HSSE excellence, driving SIMOPS and complex multi-well campaigns while developing capability within the drilling team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in E&P drilling operations.
• At least 10 years in leadership roles.
• Strong offshore operations experience, SE Asia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, approval, and execution of drilling strategies and well delivery frameworks.
• Ensure drilling programs comply with OMS/DWES standards and SKK Migas requirements.
• Oversee well engineering assurance, DWOP, HAZOP, readiness reviews, and risk management.
