Job summary

Instrumindo Prima Sentosa seeks a seasoned Lead Drilling Engineer to oversee all drilling activities in the Surabaya region. You will design, plan, and execute drilling campaigns, lead a team of engineers and field personnel, and ensure safe, cost-efficient operations in East Java's dynamic energy sector.

The role demands a proactive leader skilled in risk management and performance optimization, with a track record of delivering complex projects in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years progressive drilling engineering experience with 3+ years in lead/supervisory roles.
• Proven track record managing complex drilling projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling programs including well design, casing schemes, and fluid selection.
• Supervise on-site drilling operations ensuring safety regulations and standards are met.
• Manage drilling budgets, forecasts and cost-control measures.
• Lead and mentor a team of drilling engineers and rig personnel to promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans for drilling challenges.
• Coordinate with supply chain, HSE, and other departments for smooth project execution.
