Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Lead Cluster Market Demand Planner to develop a robust demand forecast using sales inputs, promotions, distribution data and shipment history. This role acts as the conduit between commercial teams and supply chain planning.

You will influence marketing, sales and finance to address input gaps, communicate forecast confidence and drive continuous improvement across the planning process.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in any major.
• 3–4 years in Supply Chain or related FMCG roles.
• Familiar with SAP APO DP or equivalent demand planning tools.
• Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain current demand planning systems to create the best forecast.
• Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs from sales and marketing and calculate their impacts on demand.
• Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on launches, discontinuations, and transitions to evaluate assumptions.
• Coordinate with regional hub to maintain cleansed history and a 12–18 month rolling forecast in APO.
• Share forecast with internal customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions.
• Influence marketing, sales and finance to address input gaps identified by forecast error; drive improvement.
• Measure and monitor key process metrics and drive continuous improvement.
