Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking a data operations and analytics professional to own and optimize large-scale operational databases, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders in Jakarta. You will validate data quality, perform root cause analysis, and partner with Operations and Business teams to drive improvements as Seven expands.

• 4–5+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and Looker Studio.
• Experience handling large datasets in fast-paced environments such as E-commerce, FinTech, FMCG, or Tech startups.
• Demonstrated ability to transform raw data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Strong project ownership with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and business acumen.
• High curiosity, proactive mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain large-scale operational databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop dashboards and automated reports using Excel and Looker Studio for business stakeholders.
• Perform data validation, sanity checks, and root cause analysis to maintain data quality.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Partner closely with Operations and Business teams to solve operational challenges using data.
• Monitor SLA, OKR, and operational performance metrics while driving continuous process improvements.
• Support multiple cross-functional initiatives during business expansion and product go-live.
