Job summary

Seven Retail is actively seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Intern in Jakarta to join our growing House of Brands. You will build dashboards, validate data, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive informed decisions.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with familiarity in SQL and dashboard tools, plus strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Familiar with SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) for querying and analyzing data.
• Hands-on experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase to create dashboards and reports.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Exposure to automation tools like Google Apps Script, Python, n8n, or Zapier with strong analytical thinking.

Your Day-to-Day

• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
• Manage, validate, and organize operational data to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Analyze operational data, identify trends and actionable insights, and provide ad-hoc analysis to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and optimize reporting workflows through simple automation to reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, align reporting requirements, and improve reporting effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Familiar with SQL (including SELECT, JOIN, and GROUP BY) for querying and analyzing data.
• Hands-on experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects using Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase to create dashboards and reports.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Google Apps Script, Python, n8n, or Zapier, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Able to communicate findings clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
