Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a senior Customs Clearance Manager in South Jakarta to oversee import/export compliance, customs clearance operations, and regulatory governance across the supply chain. You will ensure cross-border shipments comply with Indonesian regulations and serve as an authorized signatory for import/export documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• PPJK Certification is highly preferred.
• 7–10 years in Customs Clearance, International Trade, Logistics/SCM.
• 5+ years in global trade compliance or customs leadership in multinationals.
• Experience in ICT/telecoms/electronics manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, HS codes, valuation, origin rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance operations for import/export, ensuring compliance.
• Act as authorized legal signatory for customs documents (export declarations, etc).
• Develop and implement customs compliance strategies and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with customs authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Lead customs audits, inspections, and responses to government inquiries.
• Oversee tariff classification, valuation, origin rules, and related regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate into policies and processes.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, procurement, legal, finance and regional HQ.
