Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in South Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking a senior Customs Clearance Manager to lead end-to-end import/export compliance and cross-border documentation. You will serve as an authorized signatory for customs declarations and work with authorities, partners, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory governance.

The role requires 7–10 years in customs clearance or international trade, strong knowledge of Indonesian regulations, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• PPJK Certification is highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in Customs Clearance or International Trade.
• 5+ years in global trade compliance or governance.
• Strong ICT/telecom/tech industry exposure a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance operations for import and export activities, ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations.
• Act as an authorized legal signatory for customs documentation (export declarations, etc.).
• Develop and implement customs compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Build relationships with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate operations.
• Lead customs audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews and respond to findings.
• Oversee HS Code classification, customs valuation, and rules of origin.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate updates into compliant processes.
• Assess risks and mitigate bottlenecks to minimize delays and exposure.
• Collaborate with supply chain, legal, finance, and regional HQ for cross-border alignment.
