Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Jakarta is seeking a senior Customs Clearance Manager to oversee end-to-end import/export compliance and governance. You will act as an authorized signatory for documentation and lead audits, ensuring regulatory alignment across cross-border operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of Indonesian customs rules, HS codes, and trade frameworks, with English proficiency for regional coordination. On-site work in South Jakarta is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• PPJK Certification is highly preferred.
• 7–10 years in Customs Clearance, International Trade, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years in global trade compliance or customs leadership.
• Experience in ICT/telecom or high-volume multinational industries.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and HS codes.
• Proficient in English for regional communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance operations for import/export.
• Act as authorized legal signatory for customs docs (export declarations).
• Develop and implement customs compliance strategies and procedures.
• Build relationships with customs authorities and regulators.
• Lead customs audits, inspections, and review responses.
• Oversee tariff classification, valuation, and origin rules.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate to processes.
• Assess risks and mitigate shipment delays.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, legal, finance, and HQ.
