Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Customs Clearance Manager to oversee end-to-end import/export compliance in Indonesia, acting as a key legal signatory for trade documents. You will lead audits, classifications, and regulatory risk management while partnering with government authorities and internal stakeholders.

The role requires deep knowledge of Indonesian customs, HS codes, and global trade practices, with English proficiency for regional coordination in a fast-paced multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• PPJK Certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Customs Clearance, International Trade, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling global trade compliance within multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and HS Code classification.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance operations for import and export activities in Indonesia.
• Act as an authorized legal signatory for import/export documentation.
• Develop and implement customs compliance strategies and procedures.
• Build relationships with customs authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Lead customs audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor regulatory updates and translate them into business processes.
• Collaborate with supply chain, legal, finance, and regional teams to ensure compliance.
