• Prepare quotations for logistics services (air, sea, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing).
• Assist sales team with customer communication and documentation.
• Follow up inquiries from customers and overseas agents.
• Coordinate with operations, customs, trucking and warehouse teams.
• Monitor shipment status and update customers.
• Update tariff/rate sheets and pricing records.

Job description

The Sales Support & Pricing staff in a freight forwarding company supports the sales team by preparing quotations, handling customer inquiries, coordinating rates with carriers/vendors, and ensuring competitive pricing for logistics services such as air freight, sea freight, trucking, customs clearance, and warehousing.

Assist the sales team with customer communication and documentation

Prepare freight quotations and service proposals

Follow up inquiries from customers and overseas agents

Coordinate with operations, customs, trucking, and warehouse teams

Maintain customer databases and shipment records

Support RFQ/tender submissions

Monitor shipment status and update customers

Handle administrative tasks related to sales activities

Request and negotiate rates from:

Shipping lines

Airlines

Calculate selling rates and profit margins

Update tariff/rate sheets regularly

Analyze market freight trends and competitor pricing

Ensure pricing accuracy before sending quotations

Maintain SOP and pricing records
