• Willingness to work in Surabaya and travel locally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in local language and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Laboratory Instruments including particle size analyzer, DSC, TGA, rheometer, and elemental analyzer.
• Visit customers with Sales Manager to build relationships and negotiate sales agreements.
• Prepare forecasts, market reports and competitor surveys.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team (presentations, etc.).
• Own projects (customer events, product launches, improvements).
• Support Sales team activities (order taking, shipment tracking).
• Possible profit/loss responsibility for area including budget and results.
• Submit offers to customers and manage product information.

Job Summary

Sales Specialist supports the Sales Manager in day-to-day business with the aim to be developed into the role of a Sales Manager. Manage Malvern Laboratory Instruments account to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives

General Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Laboratory Instruments related to particle size analyzer, differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), thermogravimetri (TGA), rheometer, elemental analyzer.
• Visit customers together with Sales Manager to learn how to build a customer relationship and how to negotiate sales agreements
• Prepare forecasts, market reports as well as regular competitor and market surveys
• Provide administrative support to the sales team (e.g. preparing presentations)
• Responsible for own projects (organize a customer event, sales of new products, work on improvements within the area of responsibility)
• Support Specialist, Sales Support activities (e.g. order taking and submission, shipment and tracking)
• Optional: Profit and loss responsibility for the assigned area of responsibility (products or territory mostly for C and D customers) including budget and result accountability
• Calculation and submitting offers to customers
• Collecting and managing of product information
• Dispatch of marketing material and product information
• Planning exhibitions and represent DKSH at exhibitions
• Follow up on customer issues
• Maintain customer data and record sales data in Salesforce.com

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Experience at least 2 years in working with the following laboratory instruments is an advantage : particle size analyzer, differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), thermogravimetri (TGA), rheometer, elemental analyzer.
• Motivated to learn about the industry and the products
• Good knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
