Job summary

DKSH in Surabaya, Indonesia seeks a Sales Specialist to support the Sales Manager in day-to-day activities and develop into a Sales Manager role.

You will manage Malvern Laboratory Instruments accounts to achieve sales targets, visit customers, prepare forecasts, and contribute to market analysis. Prior instrument sales experience and fluency in English are preferred, with willingness to travel and cover Surabaya.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with laboratory instruments (e.g., particle size analyzer, DSC, TGA, rheometer, elemental analyzer).
• Motivated to learn about the industry and products.
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Willing to cover the Surabaya area.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of laboratory instruments and support Sales Manager in achieving targets.
• Visit customers with Sales Manager to build relationships and negotiate sales agreements.
• Prepare forecasts and market reports, plus competitor and market surveys.
• Provide administrative support (presentations, data, orders).
• Manage projects and participate in events, product launches, and exhibitions.
