Job summary

PT. Oriental Sheet Piling is seeking a senior sales professional to expand our customer base for foundation solution materials across the region. You will plan and execute visits with clients or consultants to close deals and achieve sales targets.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with at least 10 years of experience, preferably with geotechnical specialization and exposure to the steel industry. Strong communication, presentation, and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Geotechnical specialization is highly encouraged.
• At least 10 years of experience in the related field is required.
• Experience in Sales, especially in steel industry is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers for foundation solution materials.
• Plan, implement and organize customer or consultant visits/meetings to close sales and meet targets.
• Prepare tender documents, quotations and follow up after sales services; ensure timely collection.
• Manage sales reporting and project reporting and execution of sales orders.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis; monitor market trends and requirements.
• Develop marketing and sales strategy as part of the overall market development plan.
• Drive commercial initiatives and support the team to achieve targets.

Responsibilities:

• Explore and develop new customer for foundation solution material;
• Plan, implement and organize customer or consultant visit/meeting to close new sales to achieve sales targets;
• Preparation of tender document, quotation and follow up after sales services as well as ensure timely collection;
• Sales management including sales report and project report and execution of sales orders;

Perform market/competitor analysis and monitor market trend and requirements;

• Prepare marketing and sales strategy plans as part of the Company overall market development plan;
• Drive commercial and team to achieve budget and targeted performances.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree Engineering (Civil) or equivalent;
• Geotechnical specialisation will be highly encouraged;
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experiences in Sales especially steel industry will be added advantage;
• Self-motivated individual that possess good interpersonal skill, customer oriented with good presentation skill and a team player;
• Demonstrate good communication and able to speak in English.
