Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Sales/Business Development leader to drive account strategies and expand opportunities in the automotive sector.

You will manage existing portfolios, lead commercial activities across the opportunity lifecycle, and partner with internal teams to deliver responsive, value-driven proposals. Strong English communication, travel readiness, and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in sales or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, or Supply Chain in the automotive industry.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to expand business opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
• Manage existing customer portfolios while identifying potential areas for business growth and market expansion.
• Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders to support sustainable business development.
• Manage commercial activities throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, quotation preparation, proposal submission, and business award.
• Support pricing strategy development and commercial negotiations to achieve business objectives.
• Evaluate business opportunities through cost reviews, financial assessments, and commercial analysis.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer requirements and successful execution of commercial activities.
• Facilitate alignment between customer expectations and organizational objectives.
• Analyze customer developments, industry trends, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Support annual planning exercises, sales forecasting, and business growth initiatives.
• Provide commercial insights to assist management in strategic decision-making.
