Job summary

PT Sejahtera Tridaya Prima in Indonesia is seeking a Sales Engineer for Mining and Non-Mining sectors. You will identify, develop, and acquire new customers across mining, construction, energy, and industrial sectors, while delivering technical solutions and product knowledge.

The role covers managing the full sales process from prospecting to closing, building long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and EPC firms, and conducting site visits with clear technical and commercial

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Oil & Gas, or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing of industrial pumps, heavy equipment, or related technical equipment.
• Good sales track record, particularly in industrial pump products and mining applications.
• Understanding of industrial pump products and applications, particularly slurry pumps, dewatering pumps, centrifugal pumps, and pump applications in the mining industry.
• Good understanding of fluid mechanics, pumping systems, and dewatering processes.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and calculate technical parameters such as flow rate, head, and pump power requirements.
• Ability to provide appropriate technical solutions, including product configuration, customized solutions, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations.

Responsibilities

• Learn, understand, and master all products and services offered by PT Sejahtera Tridaya Prima.
• Identify, develop, and acquire new customers in the mining, construction, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Maintain and improve business relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct active sales activities to achieve sales targets and business growth.
• Provide product presentations, product knowledge, and technical consultations to customers according to application needs.
• Conduct site visits, customer visits, and field surveys to understand customer needs and business development opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate technical solutions related to dewatering pumps, slurry pumps, centrifugal pumps, and related products.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including quotations, tenders, and supporting documents.
• Perform basic pump application calculations such as flow rate, total head, capacity, and power requirements.
• Conduct canvassing, prospecting, market mapping, and business network development to obtain new project opportunities.
