Job summary

Nord Minerals is seeking a Mining Engineer with a blend of technical and sales skills to drive equipment solutions for mineral processing plants. You will verify customer needs, conduct technical audits, and collaborate with process engineers to optimize processes.

Responsibilities include selecting equipment, negotiating contracts, and presenting proposals to clients. The role requires hands-on plant experience, knowledge of mineral processing equipment, and strong English and Indonesian

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or Mineral Processing.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience at ore processing plants.
• Experience with crushing, milling equipment, pumps, and processing equipment.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian; strong communication and presentation skills.

Job description

Developing sales of complex technological solutions for mineral processing plants. You will verify needs and conduct technical customer audits with process engineers to improve and optimize processes, select equipment and spare parts, carry out technical and commercial negotiations, hold tenders and sign contracts, work with customers on the area of responsibility, and make presentations for customers.

About you

• Higher technical education (Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or related field)
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience at ore processing / concentration plants, with direct exposure to crushing and milling equipment, pump solutions, and processing equipment (flotation, hydrocycling, dewatering, separation, hydrometallurgy, etc.)
• Practical understanding of plant processes and equipment operation gained from working on-site at a processing facility
• Experience in working with leading Indonesian minerals companies: coal, nickel, gold, copper and other ores is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with equipment vendors and technical specifications used in mineral processing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills and result-oriented approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Indonesian
