Job summary

PT SEI Consulting Jakarta, a Subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Industries, seeks a Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and experience in the cutting tools industry. You will develop and maintain customer relationships, promote cutting tools, provide technical solutions, and travel within East Java, Central Java, Balikpapan, and Batam.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and English

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the cutting tools industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to cutting tool applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid SIM A.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Willing to travel and handle sales activities in East Java, Central Java, Balikpapan, and Batam.
• Candidates based in East Java are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the assigned area.
• Promote and sell cutting tools and related products.
• Provide technical support and solutions for cutting tool applications.
• Analyze customer requirements and solve cutting tool-related problems.
• Conduct customer visits and support product demonstrations when required.
• Achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports and coordinate with internal teams.
• Travel within assigned areas as required.
