Job summary

PT Multikarya Asia Pasifik Raya, headquartered in South Jakarta, seeks a results-driven Sales Engineer to promote pumps, drilling equipment, and related services in Indonesia. You will coordinate tender documentation with application engineers and sales teams and present as the company representative to clients.

Based in the head office in South Jakarta, you will lead a small team, build client relationships, meet sales targets, and provide weekly progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and marketing of all products, spare parts, repair and services including reciprocating pumps, centrifugal pumps, handling tools, and drilling equipment.
• Present and act as a company representative to new clients.
• Work with application engineers and sales representatives in preparing tender documents, tender submission and tender management.
• Lead a small team to achieve sales goals for a set of clients.
• Provide a weekly report related to the sales goal.
• Attend tender meetings and maintain communication with the client’s users.
• Conduct market analysis.

Market Analysis

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience in oil & gas industry.

Preferably have a certification or a good understanding of PTK-007 Rev 5 and oil & gas tender processes.

Good technical knowledge of pumps, drilling & well intervention equipment, or gas compressors, depending on the assigned position.

Experience in business development, sales target achievement, and customer relationship management.

Basic knowledge of tender preparation and tender submission (Government & Private Sector).

Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, vast connection within the industry is preferable.

Fluent in English (written & spoken) is preferable.

Placement in Head Office, (South Jakarta).
