Job summary

Bumame in Makassar is seeking a driven Sales & Business Development professional to lead doctor acquisition, activation, and partnerships within the B2D2C ecosystem. You will work on achieving sales targets through field visits, strategic pitches, and building a robust doctor network.

The role requires 3–5 years in sales, a Bachelor's degree, and strong negotiation and relationship skills. You will analyze market trends, report progress, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize revenue

Responsibilities

Main Objective

Responsible for achieving the assigned sales target in Makassar through effective doctor acquisition, doctor activation, relationship management, and business development within the B2D2C ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned for the Makassar area.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue from the B2D2C channel.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline, conversion rate, and revenue achievement.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through existing and new doctor networks.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide market insights to management.

Doctor Acquisition

• Identify and acquire new doctors, specialists, clinics, and relevant healthcare professionals in Makassar.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential doctors.
• Conduct regular field visits and meetings with doctors.
• Present products, services, and partnership opportunities to prospective doctors.
• Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial partnerships with doctors.
• Achieve assigned doctor acquisition targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Doctor Activation

• Ensure newly acquired doctors actively utilize and promote the company's products/services.
• Develop activation plans for each doctor based on their potential and patient profile.
• Maintain regular communication and engagement with doctors.
• Monitor doctor productivity, transaction volume, and revenue contribution.
• Identify inactive or low-performing doctors and implement reactivation strategies.
• Increase repeat transactions and revenue contribution from existing doctors.

Relationship & Account Management

• Build strong and long-term relationships with doctors and healthcare partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned doctors.
• Understand doctors' needs and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Resolve operational or commercial issues in coordination with internal teams.

Market Development

• Conduct market mapping of doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare communities in Makassar.
• Identify potential high-value doctors and priority accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market trends.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Minimum S1 / Bachelor's Degree from any major.
• Minimum 3-5 years of sales/business development experience.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics, insurance, FMCG, or B2B/B2C sales is preferred.
• Experience dealing directly with doctors, clinics, hospitals, or healthcare professionals is a strong advantage.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Target-oriented and highly driven by achievement.
• Comfortable conducting field sales and frequent doctor visits.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Able to analyze sales performance and develop action plans.
