Client Construction Co. in Jakarta is seeking a Sales Asst. Manager ~ Manager with Mandarin proficiency to lead project sales initiatives in the construction and building materials sector.

The role involves engaging architects, consultants, and developers, driving tender participation, and securing orders through strategic negotiations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, strong English and Mandarin communication skills, and a track record of 7+ years in sales or business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from any major.
• Business level English and conversational Mandarin required.
• Total 7 years in sales/business development; 3+ years in Asst. Manager/Manager roles in building materials or construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential projects in construction and building materials sectors.
• Conduct client visits and product presentations to architects, consultants, contractors, and developers; highlight SFI products' benefits.
• Manage the project sales process from prospecting and tender participation to price negotiation and order closing.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and improve chances of winning projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective pipeline management and strategic planning.
• Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from any major
• Business level of English proficiency and Conversational level of Mandarin
• Have 3 years of experience Asst. Manager with total of 7 years as Sales, Business Development for building material, or working in Construction Industry
• Strong knowledge of building material, project based sales, tender procedures, project administration and cost management
• Proven experience in project acquisition, commercial negotiations, and closing sales opportunities
• Strong leadership potential, a target-oriented mindset, and a high sense of ownership and accountability
