Job summary

Our client, a multinational trading company, seeks a Mandarin-speaking Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and vendor relations across packaging and garment sectors. The role emphasizes strong vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, and timely delivery coordination.

You will liaise with the Sales team and the China Operations Team to ensure product specs, quotations, and samples meet customer requirements. 7+ years in procurement leadership and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High Conversational Mandarin and Conversational English proficiency.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as Procurement Management in Trading and Manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Search for and identify suitable vendors and manufacturers for packaging products.
• Request and compare quotations to evaluate pricing, product quality, and lead times.
• Coordinate with vendors to request, track, and follow up on product samples.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to understand customer requirements and product specifications.
• Liaise with the China Operations Team on vendor inquiries, product specifications, quotations, and sample arrangements.
• Follow up on sourcing progress and ensure timely communication between vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain updated records of vendors, quotations, samples, and product specifications.
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Report quality performance, improvement progress, and key issues to management and stakeholders.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
