Job summary

Mekari is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive in Makassar to identify, prospect, and close new business for our POS and SaaS solutions in the F&B and Retail sectors.

You will manage the full sales cycle, deliver tailored demonstrations, and build lasting relationships with business owners and managers. The role demands proactive outbound work, field visits, and a strong customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Hospitality, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in POS software, SaaS, or related tech.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling to restaurants, cafés, retail stores, and merchant-based businesses is highly preferred.
• Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate opportunities independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in the F&B and Retail segments.
• Conduct outbound sales via cold calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, events, and field visits.
• Generate and qualify sales opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
• Understand customer challenges and recommend Mekari POS solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
• Manage sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing and handover.
• Build relationships with business owners, operations managers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• Maintain CRM records and accurate sales pipeline updates.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market developments in F&B and Retail.
