Job summary

SHIJI in Jakarta is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to drive partnerships with malls, department stores, event organizers, and retail partners to bring brands into offline retail channels. You will identify opportunities, coordinate bazaar events, pop-ups, and in-store activations, and negotiate terms to expand brand presence in outlets such as SOGO and Metro.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development, Retail, Partnership, Event, or Sales.
• Networking with malls, department stores, event organizers, or retail is preferred.
• Understanding of bazaar systems, pop-up stores, tenant management, and department store operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop cooperation opportunities with malls, department stores, event organizers, and retail partners
• Manage and coordinate bazaar events, pop-up stores, and offline brand activations from start to finish
• Create opportunities for brands to enter department stores such as SOGO, Metro, and other retail outlets
• Build and maintain good relationships with mall management, buyers, tenant management, and retail partners
• Negotiate terms related to rental, placement, commission, revenue sharing, and other forms of cooperation
• Identify locations and events that align with the brand's target market
• Follow up and ensure cooperation processes run according to timeline
• Create event reports and evaluate performance across each channel
