Job summary

PT Tri Jaya Sandy is seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead Grand Dragon Nightclub's dining and beverage operations in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role focuses on exceptional service, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee all front-of-house and bar activities, manage staff, control costs, and ensure compliance with health and hygiene standards while delivering memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in restaurant and bar management within a hospitality environment.
• Proven track record of successful staff management and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including stock control and cost management.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian language is advantageous.
• Hospitality or management qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of restaurant and bar, including opening, closing and service procedures.
• Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, training and performance management for front‑of‑house and bar team members.
• Maintain consistent service quality and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, manage inventory, and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
• Develop and implement menus, promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to enhance revenue.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage cash handling, payments and reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain records and reports on operational metrics, sales performance and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
