Job summary

Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla is seeking a dynamic leader to head the Restaurant & Gourmet Bar, driving service excellence and memorable guest experiences. You will coach the F&B team, manage stock and costs, and collaborate with Kitchen and hotel colleagues to deliver seamless service.

With a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence, you will oversee beverage service, presentation, and compliance, including handling guest feedback and ensuring cost-efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience leading a restaurant, coffee shop or Food & Beverage operation.
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people.
• Genuine focus on guest experience and service excellence.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience with Opera.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of Restaurant & Gourmet Bar.
• Inspire, coach and develop the Food & Beverage team.
• Create memorable guest experiences and drive service excellence.
• Manage guest feedback and confidently resolve service issues.
• Oversee restaurant presentation, beverage service and compliance.
• Manage stock, costs and daily operational requirements.
