Job summary

Accor's Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to support daily operations, drive cost control, and develop a high-performing team. The role emphasizes brand standards, safety, and seamless cross-department collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings supervisory hotel F&B experience, a passion for guest service, strong communication, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment within a premier hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Flexible to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of all Food & Beverage operations through the hotel.
• Assist with controlling departmental costs by assisting with stock control, ordering, inventory management and minimizing wastage.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure brand standards, service procedures and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain high food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
