Job summary

Murex Resort in Manado, Indonesia seeks a day-to-day leader to oversee guest experience, front office, service standards, F&B, housekeeping, and property presentation. The GM will lead hospitality teams, drive training and development, ensure safety and budget controls, and coordinate with Finance, Dive Center, Reservations and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in a quality resort, hotel or hospitality operation.
• Strong knowledge of rooms, food and beverage, guest service and property operations.
• Proven leadership of multicultural teams with a fair and consistent management style.
• Sound financial and commercial judgement, strong organization and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Excellent guest-relations and communication skills, including strong written and spoken English.
• Willingness to dive and snorkel as part of the role is required.
• Experience in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, boutique resorts or remote destinations is an advantage.
• Bahasa Indonesia is highly valued.
• Knowledge of dive tourism is beneficial.
