Job summary

PT Nayue Kosmetik Indonesia is seeking a senior R&D leader to drive cosmetic and skincare product development from concept to launch. You will oversee market research, formulation, testing, and regulatory alignment while ensuring timelines and quality standards.

Collaborate with R&D/Formulation, QA/QC, Regulatory, Production, and Marketing to meet client briefs and business goals. Requires strong leadership, English communication, and willingness to be placed in Cikarang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as required.
• Minimum 5 years in R&D, Product Development, or Innovation in beauty/cosmetic.
• Experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.
• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation, and trends.
• Experience with maklon and handling client briefs.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and leadership.
• English proficiency.
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang.

Develop innovative cosmetic and skincare products based on market trends and client requirements

Conduct market, competitor, and ingredient research to identify new product opportunities

Manage the product development process from concept, formulation trials, testing, revision, to final approval

Collaborate with clients, R&D/Formulation, QA/QC, Regulatory, Production, and Marketing teams

Ensure products meet quality, safety, regulatory, timeline, and business requirements

Lead, mentor, and manage the R&I team

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, Product Development, or Innovation within the beauty/cosmetic industry

Experience in cosmetic formulation and product development is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation, and current beauty trends

Experience working with cosmetic contract manufacturing (maklon) and handling client/product briefs

Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Good communication and leadership skills

Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Good command of English, both written and spoken

Willing to be placed in Cikarang
