Job summary

Valmet in Shanghai, China seeks a sales-focused professional to drive tissue mill improvement projects and field services sales. You will manage products, audits, specifications, pricing, and market development while coordinating with regional sales and global product teams.

The role emphasizes service sales, customer relationships, and after‑sales follow‑up, with opportunities to localize products for market needs. English communication and CAD/Office tools are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in tissue industry or related mechanical area.
• Major in paper making or related mechanical/automation/paper.
• Strong service and sales mindset with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Tissue Mill Improvement Project and Field Services sales.
• Product management for responsible products with related components and services, including audit, technical specification, order booking, as sold GP%, market share, pricing guideline, sales budget and work processes.
• Product development and localization to seek market needs and product transfer from Europe.
• Cost optimization of responsible products in continuous improvements.
• Promote new technology and technical support in sales actions to drive service with related products and field services business growth.
• Support project execution when needed.
• Trouble shooting for delivered products and field services.
• Good cooperation with global product manager in related products and services.
• Work closely with region sales and other TU products sales and customer service team.
• Market development of tissue service agreements, to tailor‑make package solution with customers’ needs.
• Keep good relationship with customers.
• To follow‑up and improve after‑sales customers’ satisfaction.
