Amartha is seeking a Regional Fleet Manager to oversee remote transportation operations across multiple territories. The role emphasizes leadership of dispersed teams, fleet maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization, with a focus on safety and service delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in fleet management or logistics, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s nice-to-have.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in fleet management, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, safety regulations, and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and improve on-time delivery across the region.
• Manage and mentor a team of remote dispatchers and site-based fleet supervisors.
• Oversee fleet maintenance schedules, ensuring safety compliance and minimal downtime.
• Monitor KPIs for fleet operations and analyze data to identify improvements.
• Ensure adherence to transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations on fleet acquisition, disposition, and vendor relationships.
