Job summary

Amartha is seeking a Regional Fleet Manager to oversee regional transportation operations with a remote work setup. You will lead a dispersed team of remote dispatchers and site-based supervisors, driving efficiency, safety, and cost control across the region.

The role requires 5+ years in fleet management or logistics, strong leadership, and proficiency with fleet management software. This position offers a fully remote arrangement and opportunities to influence major regional logistics

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fleet management, transportation or logistics operations.
Proven ability to manage remote teams and operations.
Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, safety regulations and supply chain optimization.
Excellent analytical, strategic planning and leadership skills.
Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce costs across the region.
Manage and mentor a team of remote dispatchers and site-based fleet supervisors.
Oversee fleet maintenance schedules ensuring safety compliance and minimal downtime.
Monitor KPIs and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure adherence to transportation regulations, safety protocols and company policies.
Collaborate with procurement and operations to manage fleet acquisition, disposition and vendor relationships.
