Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a detail-oriented language evaluator to listen to and review Indonesian speech for nativeness and fluency. You will provide written and verbal feedback on accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, and authenticity, and ensure cultural appropriateness of language samples.

This remote role requires native Indonesian proficiency and strong English skills (minimum B2). You will document observations clearly and collaborate with project coordinators to refine evaluation

Qualifications

• Native-level Indonesian proficiency.
• Strong English (B2) proficiency.
• Keen attention to detail with an analytical approach to language evaluation.
• Comfortable working remotely and meeting project requirements punctually.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and review audio clips to assess nativeness and fluency of Indonesian speech.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on language accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, and authenticity.
• Validate cultural and contextual appropriateness of language used in audio samples.
• Document observations meticulously with clarity and actionable insights for model improvement.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to discuss findings and clarify guidelines as needed.
• Support refinement of evaluation frameworks by sharing linguistically-informed suggestions.
