Job summary

PT PRIESMA MITRA JAYA in Medan is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop and manage B2B relationships in the industrial sector, with a remote / WFH arrangement. You will identify opportunities, present technical solutions, and drive sales targets while coordinating with internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in B2B/technical sales, prefer experience with industrial machinery, and are willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B Sales / Technical Sales / Sales Engineering.
• Experience selling industrial machinery, equipment, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or other productive assets is highly preferred.
• Experience with color sorters, sorting machines, optical sorting equipment, or related machinery is a strong advantage.
• Experience dealing with factories, manufacturers, distributors, or business customers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Able to understand and explain technical products to customers.
• Target-oriented and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
• Candidates with stable career history are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with B2B customers, factories, and industrial clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
