Hitachi Energy in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager – Telecom Systems to drive growth across our Automation & Communication portfolio. You will lead strategies, engage utilities and industrial customers, and manage complex commercial negotiations to deliver innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in BD/sales within telecommunications and power utilities, with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within Telecommunications, Power Utilities, Transmission & Distribution, Substation Automation, or Industrial Automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the Telecom Systems business and achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across utilities, EPC contractors, industrial customers, and channel partners.
• Build trusted customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead customer engagements, presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, proposals, and opportunity tracking through CRM tools.
