Job summary

Traveloka in Indonesia seeks an experienced labor and employment lawyer to join its dynamic Legal Team at the BSD, Tangerang office. You will help maintain workplace harmony and ensure compliance across the Group, focusing on labor, employment, and industrial relations.

You will advise on employment matters, support internal stakeholders, oversee litigation, develop regional policies, manage external counsel, and conduct internal audits to identify compliance risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law from reputable universities.
• Minimum 5 years experience as employment counsel and/or industrial relations counsel position in a company or law firm.
• Extensive experience managing end-to-end dispute resolutions, from handling internal employee grievances and conducting sensitive investigations to leading mediation processes.
• Ability to navigate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English for regional and local teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic employment law advice on a wide range of advisory matters to key internal stakeholders.
• Support stakeholders for employment related matters within the group.
• Oversee and provide support for litigation and pre-litigation in relation to employment related matters.
• Advise on industrial relations and collective bargaining issues.
• Develop internal policy, guidelines and standards on employment matters for the region.
• Manage and oversee external counsel relationships.
• Conduct internal audits to proactively identify employment law compliance risks.
• Oversee documents submission to the relevant authorities in employment law.
• Draft formal legal letters in relation to employment.
