Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an Area Training Kitchen Manager to oversee culinary training programmes and kitchen operations across Jakarta and Kalimantan. The role is based in Jakarta with travel to multiple sites, combining on-site presence with regional travel to ensure consistent quality and strong team development.

You will design comprehensive training curricula, supervise safety and hygiene, and build a high-performing culinary team across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years in culinary training or kitchen management.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes for kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent cooking skills and understanding of varied techniques.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop staff across levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in training assessment methodologies.
• Organisational and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver culinary training programmes for Jakarta and Kalimantan teams.
• Oversee training kitchen operations, maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Assess training needs and develop customised plans to address gaps.
• Conduct hands-on training covering techniques, prep, presentation, and management.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage training budgets, resources, and equipment.
• Collaborate with operational managers to align outputs with business needs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and report progress.
• Travel regularly between Jakarta and Kalimantan for on-site delivery.
• Maintain training documentation and develop current materials.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
