Job summary

PayJoy is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead for Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Maluku to drive expansion of our point-of-sale network by building strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and local providers. You will lead a regional commercial team, report to the Senior Commercial Manager, and work closely with the Sales team to deliver revenue growth while upholding PayJoy’s standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong commercial acumen with a proven 10+ years track record in closing, nurturing, and growing smartphone retailers and mobile network operators in financing.
• Professional experience leading a sales team and reporting to the executive team with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Indonesian.
• Proficient with Google Suite, CRM (Zoho & Zendesk), Slack, data analytics, and project management tools (Hex and Jira).
• Detail-oriented and process-oriented with experience working under robust SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans, forecasts, and goals to achieve revenue growth and market penetration with minimal risk.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with commercial partners to launch local partnerships and drive distribution growth.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Business Development team and provide training and resources for success.
• Support Sales in all business activities to optimize customer satisfaction and grow the customer base.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and actions.
• Generate sales reports and track KPIs to communicate progress and actions needed to meet company goals.
