Job summary

PayJoy is seeking a results-driven business development and sales operations leader to manage national expansion efforts across Indonesia. You will own the end-to-end commercial strategy, oversee site research, lease negotiations, store openings, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and partners to hit revenue targets.

You'll build and coach a high-performing team, govern strategic partnerships, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field from UI, ITB, UGM, or overseas
• 8+ years of experience in business development and sales operations leading a team to exceed revenue targets
• Proven experience in retail/offline store expansion—site selection, openings, and scaling physical footprint
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a high-performance sales team
• Hyper-local thinking; ability to tailor GTM strategy to local market trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to handle pressure from internal and external stakeholders with a solution-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end commercial strategy for national expansion, setting growth plans, priorities, and P&L outcomes across all workstreams.
• Drive new store expansion end to end—site selection and market research, lease negotiation, new store openings (design, activation, merchandising, logistics), and staff training for smooth handoff to operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to exceed commercial targets through SOP creation and workflow improvement.
• Build and govern strategic partner/vendor relationships nationally, mitigating risks and representing business performance to regional and global leadership.
• Lead flagship initiatives from strategy through delivery, directing cross-functional teams and owning the reporting narrative to senior leadership.
