The Balangan Hotel in Bali, Indonesia is seeking an energetic Hotel Receptionist to warmly welcome guests and provide outstanding service. Responsibilities include check-in/check-out, reservations, payments, and guest inquiries, with coordination to housekeeping and maintenance for smooth operations.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, relevant front office experience, and strong English language skills.
Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and transportation.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.
Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Prepare daily reports, cash balancing, and shift handovers.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Minimum High School Diploma (Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Tourism is an advantage).
Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Front Office staff is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written (additional languages are an advantage).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, VHP, or similar.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
