Job summary

PT. Anugerah Mortar Abadi is seeking a senior R&D Leader to head product formulation and New Product Development. You will define product specifications and oversee development progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

The role includes evaluating raw materials, managing rework and returns, and maintaining TDS/MSDS accuracy. You will also perform market trend analyses to identify opportunities and monitor monthly R&D KPI performance, driving improvements to meet departmental targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, including managerial or leadership experience, preferably in the building materials industry
• Strong knowledge of chemical analysis of building materials, GLP laboratory protocols, equipment, and product testing methods
• Strong product development, innovation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of raw materials, product specifications, and technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead product formulation and New Product Development (NPD) activities, establishing product specifications and monitoring development progress
• Evaluate new raw material requirements and oversee resolution of rework and returned products
• Review and ensure the accuracy of Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Conduct market and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and innovation
• Monitor and analyze monthly R&D KPI performance and drive improvements to achieve departmental targets
