Lead test strategy, automation and evidence-based quality judgment across core enterprise platforms. Report to the CTO and work with Product, engineers and business experts. You are a hands‑on quality lead, with no direct reports at hire. Independent approval requires CTO-recorded lane qualification; an eligible nonauthor approver decides until then. Work you author, including comparators and test infrastructure, receives independent review.
Key Responsibilities
Test strategy and planning
- Define test plans, entry and exit criteria, environments, test-data needs and execution plans for each assigned scope.
- Align validation priorities with Product, engineering and business experts, making risks and dependencies visible before build.
Coverage and test design
- Map every approved requirement revision to test cases, evidence or an explicit gap, blocker or justified exclusion.
- Design positive, negative, boundary, authorization and invariant cases as applicable; return untestable requirements before affected build proceeds.
- Maintain traceability from requirement revision through test evidence and disposition.
Automation and quality controls
- Build and improve automated suites, pipeline checks, comparators and replay tools.
- Keep meaningful passing regression tests; document any removal with its reason, replacement or accepted risk.
- Verify AI-generated assertions against sources and record the method used.
Execution and independent judgment
- Direct test execution, maintain run records, judge evidence within the qualified approval lane and escalation exceptions through the defined control.
- Arrange independent review of QA-authored approval evidence and keep failed or inconclusive evidence visible.
Reporting and improvement
- Investigate failures with reproducible steps, relevant logs and expected versus actual results; coordinate defect triage, verify fixes and add regression coverage for confirmed defects.
- Explain defects, evidence, coverage and open risks clearly to technical and business readers.
- Improve repeatable quality practices, tools and reporting based on defects and delivery evidence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant quality-engineering, test-automation or software-engineering experience, including building and shipping production software.
- Test design from written specifications, including ambiguous, negative, authorization and failure cases.
- Ownership of automated regression in continuous integration and ability to read code and specifications together.
- Hands‑on ability to test APIs, data integrity and integration workflows, and to prepare repeatable test data and environments.
- Ability to investigate failures, produce reproducible defect reports and distinguish product defects from test or environment failures.
- Clear written and spoken communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English for technical and business audiences.
- Practical AI proficiency with source verification and documented methodology.
- Judgment that protects necessary quality, security and reconciliation checks under pressure.
Preferred
- 7+ years of relevant quality-engineering, test-automation or software-engineering experience.
- Financial‑industry experience.
- Security testing or evidence delivery in regulated environments.
