Job description

Turn business intent into requirements that engineers can build and QA can test across core enterprise platforms. This is hands-on specification engineering: you report to the CEO and work with the CTO, QA, engineers and business counterparts. You own editorial precision; changes to approved business meaning, scope or architecture go to the relevant business authority, CEO or CTO.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery and user understanding

• Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews, workflow discovery and user research to identify goals, constraints, exceptions and unmet needs.
• Translate research findings into clear problem statements, user journeys and priorities; validate proposed flows and usability with intended users before they become build commitments.

Requirements and decisions

• Write versioned requirements with source evidence, acceptance criteria, approval records and explicit dependencies.
• Turn ambiguity or contradiction into a decision request with the issue, evidence, owner, proposed default and requested action.
• Keep scope, open questions and approved decisions visible to engineering and business stakeholders.

Product design and delivery alignment

• Shape user flows, interaction requirements and usability acceptance criteria with engineering and business counterparts.
• Maintain module boundaries and traceability after approved semantic changes; make implementation impact visible before a boundary changes.

QA and engineering handoff

• Hand QA the exact approved revision, acceptance basis and dependencies before affected build begins.
• Resolve or elevate returned material testability gaps; affected build remains blocked until resolved or explicitly excluded by its approval owner.

AI-enabled practice

• Use AI to draft and reconcile specifications, verify its claims against sources, and document your method.
• Improve the repeatable tools and templates that make requirements, decisions and traceability easier to maintain.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant product, business-analysis or specification-engineering experience delivering enterprise transactional or approval-driven systems from discovery through release.
• Strong user-research skills: plan interviews and workflow observations, distinguish evidence from assumptions, and turn findings into user journeys and product requirements.
• Practical understanding of UX principles, including clear navigation, interaction states, error recovery and accessibility; able to assess wireframes or prototypes and validate usability with intended users.
• Precise requirement writing and decision discipline, including acceptance criteria that QA can test.
• Able to read data models, API contracts and tests with engineers and to reason about delivery trade-offs.
• Clear written and spoken communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English, including facilitation of stakeholder reviews and decisions.
• Practical AI proficiency with source verification and documented methodology.

Preferred

• 7+ years of relevant product, business-analysis or specification-engineering experience.
• Financial-industry experience.
• B2B client sign-off experience or experience shipping a language-model product.
