Job summary

Azura Labs in Semarang, Indonesia is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure high-quality software releases. You will be responsible for developing test cases, performing testing on mobile and web-based applications, validating data integrations, and managing defects. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in QA and a good understanding of testing methodologies.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing test scenarios, validating system integrations, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
• Perform testing on mobile applications and web-based admin/dashboard systems used for visit monitoring, order approval workflows, and reporting
• Validate data integrations, particularly synchronization between mobile applications, backend services, and data warehouses, ensuring data consistency and preventing duplication or data loss during synchronization processes
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing for every release prior to UAT and production deployment.
• Document, track, and manage bugs and defects, while coordinating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
• Communicate testing progress, findings, and results clearly to stakeholders and Project Managers.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or a similar role
• Familiar with testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend integrations
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to interpret requirement documents, specifications, and Statements of Work (SOW)
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and capable of working effectively under tight deadlines
• Willing to travel for business trips when required.
