Job summary

LOGIQUE is seeking a proactive QA Engineer for a 3-6 month contract to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automation scripts.

Beyond testing, you will shape the product by translating business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high quality, performing both manual and automated testing with Selenium,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional QA experience.
• Experience with QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Proven ability to write clear test cases and test plans.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, system and UAT testing.
• Identify, document and track defects in a defect tracking system.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Analyze requirements and design documents to provide feedback and acceptance criteria.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and meticulous QA Engineer for a 3-6 month contract to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and automation scripts. Beyond testing, you will play a key role in shaping the product, from translating business needs into clear requirements to making sure what we build truly delivers value to users.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute detailed Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts

Perform various types of testing, including Functional, Regression, System, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) using a Defect Tracking System

Develop and execute Automation Scripts using relevant testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high quality

Analyze requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Translate business needs into clear User Stories with well-defined Acceptance Criteria

Help manage and prioritize the Product Backlog together with stakeholders and the development team

Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, making sure requirements are understood consistently on both sides

Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective

About you

Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive Test Cases and Test Plans

Proven experience with both Manual and Automated Testing

Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)

Familiarity with SQL for database testing/validation

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Experience writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (e.g., using Gherkin/BDD format)

Understanding of the Product Owner role within Scrum, including backlog management and prioritization

Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
