Job summary

PT BUSANID TECHNO ASIA seeks a QA Engineer to design and run manual tests, analyze specs, and ensure quality across functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests. You will perform usability-like checks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements.

The role requires 2–4 years of manual testing experience, strong STLC knowledge, and proficiency with Jira, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Proficiency in test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.).
• Experience with Jira, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps for bug tracking.
• Understanding of API testing concepts.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications

Identify test scenarios and edge cases

Manual Testing Execution

Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing

Conduct usability and accessibility testing

Bug Management

Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools

Reproduce and verify bug fixes

Prioritize bugs based on severity and impact

Documentation & Reporting

Create detailed test documentation and reports

Maintain test case repositories

Provide regular testing status updates to stakeholders

Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers

Provide feedback on requirements and user stories

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

2-4 years of experience in manual software testing

Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)

Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT)

Proficiency in test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.)

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)

Understanding of API testing concepts
